About Jonathan Coleman
Some people find their calling gradually. I found mine the summer after my senior year of high school — a firm and strong God from God to ministry. I had no idea what that would look like. I just knew I had to follow.
That step of faith led me to Mississippi College, then to Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Texas, where I was ordained and met my wife Natalie. Over the past 21 years, I have served churches in Louisiana, Mississippi, and Texas — through music ministry, children’s ministry, and now pastoral ministry — each season has shaped me in ways I couldn’t have planned.
I currently serve as Lead Pastor of Harvey Baptist Church in Stephenville, Texas, where Natalie and I are raising our four kids and planting deep roots.
This blog is an extension of the pulpit — sermons turned into something you can read on a weekday, devotionals for the hard seasons, and reflections from a pastor still learning to follow.
My hope is simple: that something here points you to Jesus.
